About The Chamber

Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) is a not-for-profit, voluntary organization of business and professional men and women joined together for the purpose of promoting civic and economic progress of our community.

Although MACC is a new name on the scene, we are not altogether new kids on the block.  Prior to the 2015 launch under an official Chamber title, Historic Montgomery Business Association (HMBA) has been actively working under the radar since 1997 to network businesses together and bring fabulous festivals and events to Historic Montgomery.  A large portion of our Charter members of MACC were carried over from the HMBA years.  The final meeting of HMBA was officially held in December of 2014 as it recognized over a decade of service and dedication to making Montgomery what it is today.

MISSION STATEMENT: To promote a positive business environment that contributes to the community and economic vitality of the Montgomery area while also promoting networking, education and economic opportunities for its members.
